Key Features
Cold War Issue: Official vz. 85 military surplus issued to Czechoslovak and Czech armed forces.
Tough Shell: Heavy olive green 65% polyester and 35% cotton twill fabric.
Thermal Lining: Thick grey faux-fur trim paired with an insulated quilted crown lining.
Convertible Flaps: Side buttons fasten the fold-down ear flaps over the crown or ears.
Introduced in the late Cold War, this winter cap was issued to soldiers of the Czechoslovak People's Army (ČSLA) and later the Czech Republic Army (AČR). Known in Czech service as the vz. 85 beranice, it protected troops during freezing Central European winter patrols and field drills.

The exterior uses hard-wearing olive green twill that cuts out icy winds. Inside, dense grey faux fur lines the front visor and ear flaps, backed by a soft diamond-pattern quilted crown. The front displays an original pinned Czech coat of arms badge, stamped in gold-toned metal.

The drop-down ear flaps let you adjust your coverage on the go. Fasten them at the top during hard physical activity, or unbutton them to shield your ears, jaw, and neck from freezing winds. It offers solid, dependable warmth for bushcraft, winter hiking, outdoor work, or cold mornings.

Add genuine military warmth to your cold-weather kit with this original Czech service cap.
